Welcome to CiYu, a social platform dedicated to connecting individuals for dating and relationships. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CiYu app, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

1. Eligibility

  • By posting, you grant CiYu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content for platform operation and promotion.

  • We reserve the right to remove or modify content that violates our guidelines or laws.

5. Matching & Communication

  • CiYu uses profile data, preferences, and algorithms to suggest matches.

  • We do not guarantee that any match will result in a meaningful connection or relationship.

  • Users are solely responsible for their interactions and are advised to exercise caution when meeting others online or offline.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Certain features may be available through paid subscriptions or in-app purchases.

  • All payments are non-refundable, unless required by law.

  • We may change pricing or features with notice.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

  • You violate these Terms.

  • You engage in harmful, fraudulent, or abusive behavior.

  • You are reported by other users and found to breach platform integrity.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • CiYu is provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the platform will be error-free or secure.

  • Use at your own risk. We are not liable for any user behavior or offline consequences of online interactions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • CiYu shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

  • Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the last 6 months (if any).

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or app notification. Continued use of CiYu after changes means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in Kenyan courts.
